Experience and training

Jeremy entered the automotive industry about five years ago and has worked in sales and as a business development manager. At Perkins Motors he has worked in sales, internet sales, and as BDC Manager.

He describes overall automotive industry knowledge as his strongest area, with particular depth in powertrains. He has spent many years rebuilding and restoring classic cars, originally in Oklahoma.

“We are market based for pricing, so we have taken all the back and forth out of the equation to make things as simple and easy as possible.”

Does that have a Hemi in it?

“For the most part, yes.”

Which is better, the 3.6 V6 or the 2.0 Turbo?

“Both have their strengths and weaknesses. It comes down to what kind of driving you do most.”

Do you offer a military discount?

“Yes, on new vehicles.”

Are you open on Sundays?

“No. We are open Monday through Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 8am to 7pm.”

Colorado Springs connection

Jeremy moved to Colorado from Oklahoma about five years ago. He says Perkins Motors has found ways to bring his other passions into the business — he has been sent to races, air shows, and festivals to represent the dealership.

Outside the dealership

Outside work Jeremy enjoys family walks in nature, hiking, travel, photography, and music. He is a professional photographer with experience in portraiture, nature and wildlife, automotive, motorsports, real estate, and macro work. He drives a 2011 Ram 1500, and his favourite vehicle he has owned was a 1969 Pontiac GTO.
