Andrew Swonger is the lead retail parts advisor at Perkins Motors and a Dodge Power Broker. A southern Colorado native, he has been Mopar factory certified for 14 years and Mopar Expert certified for 8.

Andrew Swonger is the lead retail parts advisor at Perkins Motors in Colorado Springs and a Dodge Power Broker. He assists sales with vehicle builds, helps retail customers in person and by phone, supports the service BDC with technical questions and scheduling, and runs appointments showing new owners how to use the electronics in their vehicle. He joined Perkins Motors on 6 June 2018 and has been in the automotive industry since September 2010.

Because he has sold Mopar accessories for so long, he spends considerable time researching and trying new ones himself. In his words, he is the kind of person who either has the answer or can find it quickly.

“I can explain how to do it, but if you’d like I will go out to your vehicle with you and show you how.”

How quickly can I get on the schedule to have an accessory installed?

“Let me work with my service schedulers and find out. What day works best for you to come in, and do you have a preference on morning or afternoon?”

How long will it take to order a part?

“Depending on availability, one to two days.”

Do you offer a military discount?

“Yes. We offer a 10% discount on all parts and service for military members.”

Colorado Springs connection

Andrew is a Colorado native, born and raised in southern Colorado, and says his family is deeply ingrained in the community and will always call it home. Because he has spent his whole life here he has personal experience with Colorado winter and mountain driving, towing, and off-roading — and will happily point you at good fishing spots and 4x4 trails as well.

Outside the dealership

Andrew drives a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic and still off-roads regularly, towing his motorcycle and ATVs around. His favourite vehicle he has owned was a 1997 Jeep Wrangler. Outside work he enjoys barbecuing and entertaining, riding his motorcycle, and spending time in the mountains.
